Keirstin Lincoln
My approach
My approach is centered on creating a space where clients feel empowered and deeply understood. I provide compassionate care, free from judgment, enabling clients to gain a better understanding of themselves.
I believe in the power of challenging unhelpful thoughts and patterns, facilitating personal growth and resilience. The therapeutic journey is one of collaboration, where I aim to support individuals in navigating their unique life experiences. Culturally responsive care is at the heart of my practice, where societal and cultural issues are integrated into the therapeutic process.
Understanding that negative emotions are an inherent part of the human experience, I emphasize the significance of acknowledging and exploring these emotions. I believe that feelings, whether positive or challenging, are valuable indicators of our lived experiences, contributing to a richer understanding of ourselves. To ensure my clients feel safe and supported in this work, I foster a warm and empathetic space.
Areas of focus
I have had the privilege of supporting clients through anxiety, trauma, grief, loss, relationship struggles, breakup recovery, life transitions, and the search for life meaning.
A little about me
I’m passionate about exploring what it means to be human, and my education has focused on understanding people in different aspects of life. I’ve studied Anthropology, Sociology, Student Development, and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. These diverse studies help me take a well-rounded and comprehensive approach in my work.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my mischievous Great Pyrenees dog, exploring the city, and searching for the perfect bowl of ramen.
