Caregiver Support Group
Beth’s intention for this group is to offer a safe and understanding space where a small group of caregivers (4-8) can share their experiences, receive encouragement, and connect with others who truly understand their struggles. As a caregiver, your days can be filled with navigating complex emotions, overwhelming responsibilities, and difficult decisions. You may find yourself putting your own needs on hold, grappling with feelings of guilt or exhaustion, and carrying the heavy weight of anticipatory grief for the person you’re caring for. It’s a lot, and you don’t have to carry it alone.
Unlike individual therapy, a support group fosters a sense of community, reminding participants that they are not alone in what they are experiencing. Through guided discussions by the therapist members engage in reflection with the hope of gaining new perspectives, developing coping strategies, and building emotional resilience. A support group provides a compassionate environment where you can be heard, supported, and empowered at your own pace with others who share the same goal. Men’s Process Group
Sandra’s intention for starting this men’s process group is to simply create a space where men can speak freely about anything that may be on their mind. Too often men seem to be pressured to be vulnerable and are told they lack emotional expression and empathy, which can often lead to shutting down. As a society, we have set expectations around vulnerability and emotional expression that might not be fair and or realistic for others.
Sandra has extensive experience in working with men, and she’d like this group to offer the opportunity through connection and therapeutic feedback to feel “ok” with where we are. For more information, or to register for the group, contact Sandra here.
